Hmmm... so I saw this background and loved it, reminds me of home! And I wanted to make something with it but had no clue as to what I wanted to do.
I ended up just finding some really interesting stock of a boy walking away and a girl with her hand up... I made the background look sort of like an old photo or film, so it kind of looks like the girl is having a memory of this moment.
I guess everyone can interpret it however they want. I see it as the boy just said something to this girl and she is in total shock of what he just said. Maybe something horrible, crazy or wonderful, who knows, but she's in shock over whatever he just said and he kept on walking like it was no big deal.
If anyone has any ideas about what he may have said please feel free to post them in the comments! It would be cool to see everyones different point of view on the same image! I love stories, so lets hear all the stories you can make up for this one! XD

Here is the girl's original photo, if you want to see before & after, I changed the eye color, raised the eyebrows and highlighted the hair a bit. [link]

This is quite diff. But I like it,....I see it as a memory maybe in her mind,....Something that has happened, but she's remembering the shock of his leaving her. Very Good,..Ilike it!! I like it because it is so diff. and it makes you think,....LOL ,.....Excellent :-)

Thank you! I was a little apprehensive on posting it since it's so different from what I normally do. I'm glad you like it! You have a great story idea too!!

Thanks for using my stock! I like what you did with my eyes :)
Thank you! :blushes: You have beautiful eyes, and I wanted them stand out more in the photo!

Aww, thanks! I sometimes like my eyes, when I'm not cursing my horrible vision and the question, "What color are your eyes?" Because they go from blue to green to gray. They're normally a shade of greenish gray, mostly I guess, but my contacts have the barest tint of blue and poof, my eyes turn blue.
We'll have to keep encouraging each other,..It seems to be tough sometimes between competiveness,...But thats where I believe each person is diff and sometimes there is no right or wrong,... Not in art,... Sometimes people try to tell you what you do wrong before you even ask for their critique,.. maybe its just a diff in interpretation,...LOL Keep up the great work,... :-)

I know how that is, mine are hazel, so they go from brown to green to blue. Sometimes all in the same day! Depending on the cloths I'm wearing they can even look yellow sometimes, which gets a lot of questions from people too. I also have bad vision...hmmm... maybe chameleon eyes = bad vision?

Even when I enter the contests I'm not really doing it to be "competitive", it would be nice to win but it's not the reason I enter. You should have seen some of my first photomanips! lol They looked like a kid took some old photos and cut and glued them together! Everything I do, even in contests, is mainly to gain skill or learn something new.
My high school art teacher used to be one of those people that jumped at the chance to tell everyone what they were doing wrong. She almost never gave a complement. I'm sure she turned a lot of kids away from art. It's sad when people can't look past themselves long enough to see someone else’s point of view.
